The Golden Temple

The weekend we spent to visit the Golden temple before we left to Malaysia for our vacations. It was saturday when we were there and there was so many people came to pray. It was a beautiful place to see. But to reach this place is another story. From New Delhi to Amritsar is about 460 kms but it took us 10 hours drive with 1 hour break to reach there and we visited the temple only the next day. It was really tiring!! The way they drive in India is really something that we can't compare....not even to the Nigerian's way.
Saturday, we went to visit the famous temple and right after that we drove all the way to the Darmshala at Himachel Predesh. The mountain road was too long for us who just wanted to spend one weekend somewhere else then Delhi. Himachel Pradesh is situated on the north of India and quite on the feet of the Himalaya. The weather is also fresh but there is always the smell of the animal disposal. There is a rice field almost everyway in Himachel Pradesh and it makes the enviroment looks so peaceful and also its remind us to the countryside life in Malaysia. In Darmshala, we stayed at the Tibetien Martial Art and Shoalin Centre.....quite clean. But unfortunately we had to leave early in the morning (about 5.00 a.m) because Meenz had to take a flight back to Kuala Lumpur at the same day. Well the way back was much longer then we accepted because the traffic jam was terrible and more in the city side where the people were so selfish and unpatient. We finally arrived at home about 9.00 p.m.....that was because Laurent managed to drive like he played in the playstation. Even the driver said that he was like a crazy man. We were just like less then 5 minutes at home just to collect the passport and the luggage then left to the airport. We reached at the airport 10 minutes before the check-in counter closed. We made it.....what an adventure, but hopefully it will be the last time. Sometime men need to listen to the women instinct too. We will never forget!
Big kiss from Kuala Lumpur
