Hello there,
Finally, I found a little time to tell you what is up here. Actually, nothing much. Life has been busy with our little Teano and the weather is seems to be enjoyable. Since the last two weeks, we have rain and for me the weather is almost pleasant as before even though and it is true that it is humid. Well, if some people cannot live with it, I can. Sound a little selfish isn't it. What shall I say as I also suffer during the winter when it is so dry. Lets put it this way: everyone has it turn.
What about our little Teano? He is about 8 and half months now and has learned so many thing already. He really enjoys the swimming pool and eat also a lot, most of the time fruits. He loves mango, banana and kiwi or I would say every fruit. He is an happy boy who's smiling all the time.
Big kiss from Ndh

Iceland's volcano
"What happens is that the magma from the volcano is around 1,200 degrees and it hits the water there, which is near freezing. What is produced is a fine ash that actually has small pieces of glass in it, and it can very easily clog up a jet engine. If you were to inhale that ash, it would literally tear up your lungs," Miller said.
So, we really hope by next week everything will get to normal. We are also worried due to our flight scheduled on 28 April.
Well, we'll see. Téano has packed up his luggage today. Funny to see him standing at his age and he can stand for a quite a while. No tricks this time...it is all about him and what he does. Amazing.......

Paques - Easter
It was a nice short break for everyone at the office. We decided to stay in Delhi for this long weekend and had a BBQ with others. Christine has arrived from Tanzania and will spend a few days with us here. For that, Susanne and me organized a BBQ and we also played hide and seek eggs. It was fun even though we are no more children. Other than that, we go trough a normal Delhi's life; hot and very hot.......
The weather is getting unbearable and we are looking forward to be on the mountain in Switzerland. Only after 5.00pm we can be a little outside but then we have to be careful with the mosquitoes. It's a typical human being isn't it? Always ask for more!!

Sun and swimming pool.....
The weather has changed and we can feel it....it's warm (perhaps too hot already). But the pool is still cold. I don't when we can start to swim. For the moment, I feel a bit sad that we can't take any of Téano's photo. Unfortunately, our camera felt on the floor few days ago. For these two months, no photo.
A little update about our little Téano; he started to turn himself for about a week now and he is so eager to move forward already and even tries to sit most of the time. At the same time, he is teething and we believed that might be hurt but he looks okay with that.
This week, we can feel the hit already. It is hot and I think it would be the best if we don't put Téano too much on the sun. So, perhaps we enjoy the swimming pool at 5pm only. We'll see about that.

Enjoying our weekend
From last Thursday, we started to have a noise on the roof but can't blame those men in blue. Some work has to be done whether we like it or not. With Téano, we went to the pool side enjoying the nice spring temperature with the blooming flowers everywhere and the chanted bird on the sky. And Téano sleep well every where he goes, so no problem about that.
The weather become a bit hot at the moment and also on the weekend. We can see everyone want to be outside as the summer will be here in any moment. Spring in Delhi does not last for a long time...perhaps maximum for only three weeks. On Sunday, we were also at the Lodi Garden, to be outside with few friends and also to celebrate Quinn's 1st birthday. Quinn is Téano's Malaysian friend (mother is Malaysian and father is Belgian). Happy Birthday again to Quinn.
Last weekend, it was a long weekend for us and also for the rest of the country to celebrate the Holi festival or color festival on Monday. We were invited to celebrate at the Farm House by our Indian's friend. It was really fun and we love this festival. Something that we will definitely miss once we will be out of this country.

Spring in Delhi
Today, it was a nice day and for the first time Téano and me enjoy the outside temperature (25۫۫ C). We spent most of afternoon at the poolside and Téano even slept there for at least an hour. He's 4 month old from today. He looks so happy watching the leafs moving around when the wind blew. At home, it is almost impossible for him to sleep as the work on the roof top has started since few days ago. If he can sleep at the poolside, it will be nice for as summer will be here in any moment. Today, the water in the pool was still cold but still few couldn't wait. Lucky for them, but for me, I will be in the pool only in May:-))

The final decline of the West is high
I found this article very interesting;
IN 2040/2050, will demographers speak of "the white man's loneliness" in the way historians once referred to "the white man's burden" to describe the so-called "imperial responsibilities" of some European nations?
Demography is not an exact science. Countless dire predictions, from that of Malthus to that of the Club of Rome, have been proven wrong. But, according to a recent and very convincing essay published in the magazine Foreign Affairs, a dual demographic and economic trend is taking place that will result in spectacular shifts by the middle of this century.
The Western world will represent only 12 per cent of the world's population, with Europeans reduced to six per cent. (In 1913, a year before the outbreak of World War 1, Europe was slightly more populated than China.)
Economically, the West will account for around 30 per cent of global output--a level that corresponds to Europe's share in the 18th century, and down from 68 per cent in 1950.
What we are witnessing can be seen is a return to the past, with the West returning to its old place in the world before dominance is ending, encouraged and accelerated by its own mistakes and irresponsible behavior.
We are entering a new historical cycle, in which there will be proportionally fewer Westerners, more Africans and Middle Easterners, and -- with greater relevance economically and strategically -- many more Asians.
It is with these figures in mind that one must consider Barack Obama's decision not to attend the next European-American summit that was due to take place in Madrid in May. It would be tempting to use a formula coined during the Cold War to describe the comparative evolution of the United States and the Soviet Union and to apply the notion of "competitive decline" to the relationship between the US and Europe.
An America that may be undergoing a process of relative if not absolute decline chooses to ignore a Europe that in US eyes is no longer a problem compared with Asia or the Middle East, and that offers little help in finding solution to the problems that most vex Americans.

Burger.....
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO THOSE WHOSE CELEBRATE....
HAPPY VALENTINE
AND OF COURSE HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR COUSIN FLORENCE CONUS....ENJOY
For once we are happy to find a place we can eat burger while we cannot have a good one even at the McDonald. The McDonald in India is too Indian taste with the masala taste. Well, this New Cafe at the DLF Promenade at Vasant Kunj is not bad at all and more it is quite near to where we live in Delhi. It is still not crowded yet as it is a new shopping more. At least, we will have a place where we can go during the summer.
I'm always wondering what shall we do here with Teano when summer arrives. It will too hot to do outdoor stuff. We'll see until then.
Gros becs de nous 3 de Delhi et bon dimanche.

Today story....
I don't know how can we do for the next few week when the roof work will start. Even now only with the preparation, it gives so much noise already. I just hope that Teano can cop with the noise and try to deal with on his own as we will also leave to Switzerland for a vacation, there will be a noise everywhere. It is for his own good to be use with the noise.
He is just so happy to find that he has a voice and he keep shouting when ever he want to. A few minute ago, for the first time I saw Teano put his toys in his mouth and again he sang...I don't know what song. As long as he happy....we are happy.

Nasi Lemak
Ask Malaysian or Singaporean, everyone knows about Nasi Lemak. I made one today for lunch and we ate a lot and almost finish the whole thing. So, tonight I only have a right a soup for a dinner...wuakakaka. But it is worth it after a long time and it is not like a commercial nasi lemak. This very special one, I added a little bit of love and it makes more tasty....,trust me. Always add a little of love in what ever you cook and you will see.

Hello...hello
Hello again,
What a pleasant weather today in Delhi. Since nothing much we can do on the weekend, we just take a walk at the embassy area. I hope soon we can start enjoy our time at the swimming pool and this summer we have Téano with us. I mean not only him, there are few more babies will meet for the good time at the pool side.
With Téano on my side now, my days are fulfilled with his activities and that makes the day goes by very fast. Nothing to complain about him…I just could not stop talking about him. I guessed all mother does.
Last week, most of the time we stayed at home. It is not that we don’t have a place to go; we just don’t like to be blocked in the traffic most of the time. So, we preferred to stay at home unless there is something urgent to do.
Well that is all for now.

Meet Teano, our little one.
Hi, it has been a long time. It is not that I don't have a time to post the story, it just that I always want to be with my little one. I think it is a natural feeling.
Well, as a lot of you aware that we have Téano Noam now, who arrived on 26 Oct 2009 in our life. Life has been so much different since. No doubt about that. There is so many things to tell but I don’t know from where to start or shall I start with giving you all his pictures on his progress during this 2 months of his age. That’s a good idea…..I think. Enjoy and big kiss from 3 of us.
