In Nigeria, we had Ellen as our housekeeper. She is a wonderful person and we has treated her like one of our family. We misses her so much anyway. Here we are engaging a men to do this job as the womens here are not competence on this field. His name is Augustin and he's coming from the south of India. The people from the south normally called as the Tamil....that is because the Tamil language is spoken more on the south. Augustin is also a good cook...and we can assure you that he is really a good one. He makes us a scare of gaining a weight with his nice and delicious foods everyday. Fortunately, we have a swimming pool and a tennis court who can help us to have a little balance in our everyday life's. He speak very little english but we still can understand what he says and he makes us smile every time he says "madame, I go gabbage throw". It is cute.....isn't it??
The pamplemouses and the grapefruits are from the garden. The head of gardener bring it to us every 2 or 3 times a week. At this time, the 7 gardeners are doing a huge garden for vegetables, fruits and spices. It will be for everyone who is working at the embassy. In the morning, if we see the gardeners are really like the militaries who are ready for an action.
Big kiss from NDH
